TORONTO— Chinese fashion label, JNBY (Just Naturally Be Yourself), made its Canadian debut at Toronto’s World MasterCard Fashion Week on Tuesday evening. Its simplistic, airy, whimsical, flowing fabrics set a Zen-like atmosphere as the crowd peacefully watched.

Asymmetrical drapings, tissue thin-like silk fabrics, crinkled linens and unfinished seams glided gracefully on the runway in soft, translucent pallets of: whites, creams, beige and tan. The collection also played with classic hues of black and pops of earth tone colours of olive, forest green and warm teals.

It’s all about flowing, loose fit, yet tailored cuts. Elongated button-ups, light cardigans, skirts, trousers and blazers stole the show. Fabrics were meant to flow behind you as you walked. Perfect for warm breezy spring temperatures.
