For this F/W '14 lookbook, Dan Levy of D.L. Eyewear has recently launched a new eyewear campaign entitled, 'See with Love'. In celebration of a fantastic and successful year, Dan Levy and his team have built a core collection of classic frames and are now expanding their products by welcoming three new models in matte black and dark tortoise: Astley, Nesbitt, and Edgar. Staying true to their tradition, they have continued to name their frames after streets in Toronto. In addition, they have also included their most popular silhouette entitled, "Whitehall" in a new matte green colourway.
Available in both optical and sunglass options, each frame is still classic yet distinctive and modern in their own way. The Astley model is a modernized cat-eye shape with a crossbreed between a squared wayfarer. It's feminine and chic, and the use of a slight swoop is automatically flattering by instantly lifting the face and having your eyes naturally smile. The Edgar is a modern version to a vintage round frame; it gives off a squared-round shape that's sure to hit the contours to almost every face shape. It's unisex, versatile and timeless —a frame one cannot go wrong with. The Nesbitt sunglass is an oversized squared wayfarer with a large depth of lens space for added coverage and chicness. It's perfect when attempting to hide a hangover, or when you're make-up free but out and about running errands, or when you're simply not in the mood and want to avoid everybody.
Lastly, their reissued and revamped signature silhouette entitled, Whitehall, is a bold, eye-catching frame that harkens back to the winning designs of the early 1960’s. Its vintage inspired shape is versatile and can be dressed up or dressed down for either occasion.
The entire F/W '14 D.L. Eyewear collection is fun, sweet, inviting and light. Its use of pale pink, whites and greys to represent the lookbook, contrasts well with the strong and bold silhouettes and colours of the frames. To See with Love, continue on to www.dleyewear.com.
