Ending 2014 Strong. Thank you Nike Women, Nike Running & Nike Sportswear.

This year I had the opportunity to join an amazing community at Nike with an amazing group of motivating and inspiring individuals. Having had the honour to join forces with Nike Women and Nike Running, I have never felt more liberated, healthy, strong and happy. With that being said, I was able to challenge myself physically with various workout routines courtesy of Nike Master Trainers and Nike Run Club Leaders, which consisted of mainly body weight. In addition, I was able to test out the latest performance gear suitable for every workout regime. I've chose to actively take over my winter with Nike and end a challenging 2014 strong, while welcoming 2015 with a stronger physical and mental mind state. Here are a few of my favourite 2014 items, courtesy of Nike Sports Wear.

The Nike Zoom Agility Training Shoe is ideal for cross fit training as it combines the feel of natural motion with ultra-responsive cushioning for flexible impact protection designed specifically for gym workouts. It's the first women's training shoe to feature visible Nike Zoom technology, with strategically placed Nike Zoom pods that return energy to your foot, helping you move more efficiently and conserve energy for your next move. It's the next revolution in quickness; guaranteed to have you outrun winter. The entire Nike Zoom Agility Training gear is made suitable to take you from indoor to outdoor. For instance, the Nike Hypertech Full-Zip Training Hoodie offers lightweight coverage to help keep you warm and dry when training in cool, wet weather and the Nike Pro Hyperwarm Mezzo Waistband Training Tights help keep you warm and comfortable so you can stay focused when you're training in cold temperatures.

When I'm not hitting the pavement, crushing kilometre after kilometre, you can find me at the Academy of Lions cross fit studio working on high and low-intensity body training. The innovative Nike Studio Mid Pack Footwear System is designed to help  make the most of workouts typically done in bare feet, including Nike Training Club toned, yoga, dance and barre routines. This combines a barefoot feel with superb protection, traction, support and style. To complete the Nike Women Studio gear, the Nike Dri-FIT Wool Infinity Training Cover-Up features soft, sweat-wicking fabric with the warmth of wool to help manage body temperatures; and the the softest fabric of any Nike training pant is the Nike Legendary Waves Tights that are made for contoured comfort and designed with feminine lines. This entire pack is made ideal and seamless for studio related sessions.

The Nike Running Reflective Gear is one of my favourite athletic winter get ups as it keeps me safe, warm, light, quick and visible. Nike Women has come up with an ideal collection that's perfect for enhancing visibility in low light; making running during the winter seasons less intimidating. The insulated Nike Shield Max Running Jacket helps keep you warm while providing excellent weather protection; and the Nike Flash Running Tights help keep you dry and visible before dawn and after dark with sweat-wicking fabric and enhanced reflectivity. My favourite item amongst the entire collection is the Nike Free 5.0 Flash Running Shoe as they're ideal for conquering the roads this winter - the hexagonal flex grooves allows the foot to move more naturally in every direction. I have never ran so quick for a long period of time in frigid temperatures.

Running this winter has never felt so light, warm and comfortable until the Nike Aeroloft 800 Running Vest. The 800-fill goose down delivers superior insulation with minimal weight, and designed to put warmth right where you need it while allowing you to move freely. In addition to the Aeroloft Hybrid Gear, the Nike Air Zoom Structure 18 Running Shoe features added firmer foam for increased stability, along with ultra-responsive, high-speed cushioning to go faster, longer.

It's the last run of 2014. The last moments to look back, reflect, and move forward. See you all on the pavement in 2015. Stay strong. #JUSTDOIT
