In honor of New York Fashion Week, D.C. based artist Naturel has officially taken over with his creativity on a series of limited edition mosaic-like prints entitled "What’s that Jumpman, Margiela?” Naturel’s futuristic illustrations blends the best of both worlds with the use of Nike and Maison Martin Margiela. Methods of pop art, cubism and mosaics with a surrealist vision sets these pieces apart from the norm. A nude cartoon-illustrated model is seen wearing the infamous Maison Martin Margiela jewelled masks, with a pair of Timberland boots, Gold Jesus pieces around her, and posing in Michael Jordan's notorious Jumpman dunk pose with a basketball in hand. How crazy dope is this? In addition to his illustrative work, Naturel has served as creative director for multiple brands such as: Crooks and Castles, Levi’s, Bacardi and the NFL. Signed and numbered with certificate of authenticity, the limited edition prints can be found at: All Burgundy.
