I was asked to join Global TV's The Morning Show for a beauty segment courtesy of Glow magazine on Wednesday, February 12. Glow magazine's Beauty Editor, Tania Kwong will be applying my makeup on-air for a Valentine's Date look. So yes, I will start off makeup-free! I'm quite nervous about being makeup-free for the entire nation to see but oh well, I'll be as real as it gets! At least the end result will be me with a full face of fresh makeup - something I'm horrible with. Anywho, my call time is for 7 a.m. meaning I'll have to be up by 5 a.m. so please excuse my horrid face in advance.
It's mind-boggling to think that I was once an intern for The Morning Show (two years ago) and my contract had recently ended with St. Joseph Media who owns multiple magazine publications including Glow. Now, I'll be airing on television with both companies I was once apart of. This is a perfect mesh as television and writing is what I do.
Although my contract with St. Joseph Media has ended, I'm thankful and blessed that they still consider me for television gigs and on-camera/on-location reporting for Fashion, Canadian Family, Glow and Weddingbells.
As a few of my followers know, I'm in hopes to become an on-camera personality for fashion, entertainment and lifestyle topics. I'm inching closer and closer with each opportunity given thus far and I can't wait to see where my future leads. God willing.
Stay tuned on Wednesday morning to catch me on Global TV's The Morning Show segment.
PS. The link below shows my behind the scene, "green room" segment on "The Moning Show" as an intern two years ago, giving you quick tips on eyewear trends for men. This was before going live on-camera for a segment I pitched and was apart of. Don't laugh!
