My Wednesday morning couldn't have started on a better note. I've been in contact with Mifland Brand for a short while now and with a few back-and-forth emails with Tobi Egberongbe, the founder and brand director of Mifland, a respectable rapport was made. As a leather lover enthusiast, I immediately fell in love with Mifland's leather goods once I laid eyes on them via Instagram. I couldn't help but track them down and write a feature on them for Complex Magazine and of course, feature them on my own blog. Amongst building a rapport, I'm ecstatic and honored to say that fortunately, I'll be receiving Mifland's spring 2014 bag collection which is now available online.
The featured Rucksack model comes in three new colorway for their Spring collection including: Naples Yellow, Plum, and Fire Orange.
The lookbook showcases a true outdoorsman feel with a modern touch to a rugged lifestyle. Poppy colored bags of the spring collection are featured and are said to "have responded really well since the drop," according to Egberongbe, since their whole goal is to show how one does not have to always blend or go the earth tone route with neutrals when hiking or being any type of outdoorsman. Mifland Leather Goods uses premium leathers that are hand chosen, sourced domestically, and treated in New York City and Atlanta. Mifland proves that mixing true luxury and quality is possible and the Rucksack models are a true example of that as it's made with heavy quality that is guaranteed to last a lifetime!
I can't wait to receive my backpack! Keep posted on the arrival and how I'll be breaking into it with my busy lifestyle.
