Working at Stüssy Toronto has enabled me to get the ins and outs on what to expect for upcoming collections and collaborations per season. Now that summer is nearing its end and we're just days away from entering fall, Stüssy has been consistently releasing their fall collections and exclusive collaborations (including their latest drop with Gasius) weekly.
Last month, photographer Nathalia Allen (@amillionminds) and I did a shoot with a few of Stüssy's fall pieces from their first capsule release. Due to both our hectic schedules, photos are now being released. Although sizes are now limited and some are completely sold out, a fair handful of these pieces are currently still available in stores.
Thou shall not fret as newer fall capsules have since been released and are even juicer! We're just getting started here.
For the first look, I grabbed a few items from each respective fall collection to showcase how you can mix and match athletic tech gear with a classic white oxford button-up and five-panel hat. It's 'cozy street chic' to say the least. To be exact, I paired the Stüssy Stock F'14 Camp Cap (in burgundy) with a Classic Oxford L/SL Shirt and Undefeated Track II tights with matching shorts for added layer and texture.
Soaking in the last bit of summer's vitamin D is crucial as the sun unfortunately sets earlier and earlier. For the fifth look, I showcase the crucial need of a light jacket as the humidity settles down and the late summer breeze becomes cooler. The Stüssy LB Coaches Jacket is ideal for days like these.
Wearing white after Labor Day is said to be a huge no-no but us leftwing thinkers say 'screw that!' For the last look, I kept it clean and crisp with Stüssy's latest Money Bucket Hat and classic World Tour S/SL Pocket Tee and Baseball Shirt for an added layer to complete the look.
Please stay posted as loads of the fall collection is continuously being released. I promise this time I won't take so long on releasing teaser photos.
