Toronto's World MasterCard Fashion Week is always a time for excitement and dreadfulness. I only say it's dreadful because of the amount of time it takes to put together the most epic outfits for the week, oh and not to mention hair and make-up has to be on point! Thankfully enough, Dippity-Do sent me an array of colorpops to have my hair literally poppin' with colour during WMCFW's spring/summer showcases. One word — magical!
I entered fall thinking I'm over my light hair and ready to go back a brunette. Never mind. After trying out Dippity-Do's colorpops, I've decided I want to be a unicorn. I played around with three colorways; blush, lilac, and silver and the outcome was out of this world! It was 'My Little Pony' meets cotton candy. I received compliments on my 'new hair' which everyone thought took hours at the salon to do. The joke was, it took half an hour at home and two easy steps: rub color to hair and hairspray to set. Voilà! And just like that, my fashion week hair was the least of my worries.
In addition to the fashion week craze comes backstage post-show interviews with designers, followed by afterparties, and the official FASHION Magazine fashion week awards. Seriously. Fashion week is like a week long marathon! Can I carb load and sleep now?
