Social + Culture Producer, The Creator Class: Tyler Mitchell

Tyler Mitchell made history after being chosen to shoot Beyoncé for the cover of Vogue’s famed September 2018 Issue. Tyler is the first African-American photographer — and the youngest at 23 (at the time) — to shoot the cover of Vogue in its 125-year history, marking it a moment to remember and a giant leap forward in an ongoing journey to improve diversity.

He dropped by the Canon Creator Lab at Free Space where he discussed his journey as an artist and the rise of a new wave of photographers and creatives disrupting the commercial landscape and challenging the status quo.
